Rockit Ravager acquired the Columbia company Home pest control, which has provided service throughout South Carolina for almost 60 years.

Rockit Pest is a holding company of Halle Capital, a New York-based growth equity-focused investment firm.

“I am delighted that Home is joining the Rockit Pest family,” said Steven Leidinger, owner and managing director of HPC for 26 years, in the statement. “Rockit has established itself as a leading company in the pest control industry with a focus on improving the customer and employee experience. We look forward to working with them to grow our business while continuing to provide quality service to new and existing customers across South Carolina.

Leidinger will continue to manage the company as president of HPC.

“We are delighted to welcome Steve and the HPC team to Rockit Pest,” said Patrick Settle, senior vice president and business development manager at Rockit. “I have known Steve for many years and have been impressed with the business he and his have built across South Carolina. His dedication to customer service and employee engagement are key ingredients to the company’s success.
